Land ownership has often been viewed as a status symbol or investment vehicle. At Camp Serenity, land is seen through a different lens—stewardship.
We believe the land belongs to God, and we are simply entrusted with its care.
🌾 From Ownership to Responsibility
Stewardship means asking:
- How do we protect what we’ve been given?
- How do we ensure the land remains fruitful for future generations?
- How do we use resources without exploiting them?
This mindset shapes everything—from how we garden to how we build, conserve water, and manage energy.
🌎 Living Lightly, Intentionally
Rather than extracting endlessly, we seek to restore. Raised garden beds enrich the soil. Compost returns nutrients to the earth. Water is collected and respected, not wasted.
The land gives—and we respond with care.
🙏 A Living Testimony
When land is stewarded well, it becomes a testimony. It feeds families. It shelters communities. It becomes a place of teaching, healing, and provision.
At Camp Serenity, the land isn’t silent.
It speaks of responsibility, gratitude, and faith in action.
